To the Editor:
This letter is addressed to those who vote for Democrats. Democrats always talk about how bad President Trump and Republicans are. You know what they don’t talk about? Why they vote for Democrats. It’s clear that Democrats, during Biden’s reign, did nothing for America and Americans except cause high inflation, high gas and food prices, and allowing 15 million plus illegals into this country that cost the lives of many innocent Americans.
I am very interested in what they think of their party’s progress over the last several months. What has the Democratic Party done for the benefit of all Americans over the last few months? How have they worked with the current administration? What have they done to reach across the aisle and work with Republicans to move America forward? How do they feel about their representatives running away like spoiled children just because they are against any redistricting in Texas? As a side note, the redistricting was court directed. How do they feel about law enforcement officers and ICE agents being attacked and killed? How about the continuing deaths of American citizens at the hands of illegal aliens? How about blue city and states giving illegal aliens millions in American taxpayer money while ignoring American citizens? How about blue city and states protecting illegal aliens over American citizens?
If the responses to these questions and points is just to rage about President Trump, that is not answering the questions. But it will show that Democratic voters are ok with no Democratic plan for America’s future. Which will lead to my final question…are or why are Democratic voters continuing to vote for Democrats? Or is the better question, do Democratic voters just not care what happens to America? I’d be shocked if that was the answer; but given the actions of Democrats since President Trump’s election, maybe it is.
Here’s what I’ve observed. Democrats have not worked on anything since President Trump was elected. They are not doing the jobs they were elected to do. They’re just acting like 2-year-olds crying and throwing hissy fits about everything. They provide no solutions or compromises. It’s just “we hate Trump.” The Democratic Party is not concerned about the American people at all. It appears they have no interest in working for their constituents specifically, and America in general.
The truth is the Democratic Party is a dumpster fire. They are leaderless and have learned nothing from the last election. They continue to shift to far, far-left policies. Democrats have always failed at “reading the room.” Polls continue to show the country shifting back to center or right of center. According to recent polling, Democrats have a favorability rating of less than 30% with some polls showing them in the 20s. It’s unlikely Democrats will have an epiphany about the direction their party is going. Because of this fact, their chances of picking up any more seats in the mid-terms is slim and none. They are much more likely to lose seats. Think that’s not true?
The following came from “The Hill” website on Aug. 21. “Democrats are sounding the alarm on new data showing they are losing voters to Republicans across the country. A devastating New York Times report showed that of the 30 states that maintain voter registration records by political party, Democrats fell behind Republicans in all of them between the 2020 and 2024 elections. In total, Republicans added up to 4.5 million voters compared to Democrats, creating a huge hole that could set Democrats back for years. “I think it should be an alarm” for the party, said Democratic strategist Eddie Vale. “I think it’s a real problem.” The data comes as Democrats struggle to figure out how to get out of the political wilderness after losing the presidency to Donald Trump and control of both chambers of Congress to the GOP. But the Democratic brand itself has taken a number of big hits, and the New York Times data is just the latest point suggesting the party has lost its way. ”
I am an American first, and a Conservative/Republican second. The Democratic Party is toxic for America. Democrats always put party first; being an American and caring about America is way down the list; if it’s on the list at all. The time is coming when Democratic voters will need to pick a side… America or the failing,America hating the Democratic Party. On the bright side, Democrats are unlikely to heed any of the warnings they are receiving. That means they won’t hold the Presidency, the House, or the Senate for a very long time. I’m ok with that.
