Protect America

To The Editor:

Very recently an Oligarch from Russia made the outlandish statement about maybe taking Alaska back even though the US purchased the territory back in the 1800s.

We have a president who seems to not care about the droves of illegals crossing into this country from our southern border. You have to wonder what statement the president made to make sure that the integrity of the United States remains intact. But, we the people have heard nothing from him or any of his cohorts concerning a direct statement concerning our commitment to Alaska. The statement did not come from Putin himself, but anything of this magnitude could not have come without his acknowledgement.

Is the current administration and democrats so focused on their agenda that they would allow a forgein power to make such a statement without so much as comment? I would imagine a number of Americans can only shake their heads in disbelief that a president who took an oath of office to defend this country and say nothing. I for one am ashamed for the man who hasn’t the backbone to make sure this country will protect itself.

I know I look forward to the election in November 2022 and in 2024 and hopefully wash away the stain that the democrats have created.
