Prause Legacy

To the Editor:

The new LG Market taking shape with a little help from the Prauses? In regard to the article printed in the Tuesday, March 23 Fayette County Record I must be confused. As a Prause that worked at our meat market for over 40 years I was under the impression when we sold the building and contents to the Hinojosa family we strictly sold them the building and the contents agreed upon. There were no recipes exchanged or purchased by the Hinojosa brothers or do “we” feel like the Hinojosa family is the 5th generation of the Prauses (as quoted by Gary Prause?)

I have never even met this family. I have no idea what they even look like. In my deed to the sale of Prause Meat Market the building was strictly sold on its own. No documentation has been agreed upon or do I recall any transaction of Prause’s recipes being purchased by the Hinojosa family.
