Praising Conduct of La Grange Football Team

To the Editor:

As part of the Cuero Chain Crew at last Friday’s game, I feel it is important to bring to your attention the outstanding conduct and sportsmanship of the La Grange football team, trainers and coaching staff. During this entire game, the respect shown to the chain crew, to the members of the Cuero team and their coaches and to the officials was outstanding. There was never a cuss word or foul language used by anyone. It was always “yes sir” and “no sir.”

The team members and trainers should be recognized for their superior attitudes and the coaches should be congratulated on their outstanding direction of coaching and discipline of these young people as they develop and grow to become young adults with abilities to serve in their communities and our country.
