Praise for Romberg

To the Editor:

Please require all submitters to Letters to the Editor be tested on Romberg’s five “Commonsense Guidelines” prior to submitting their letters to the editor.

After reviewing Mr. Romberg’s grammatical structure, textual content and overall syllogistic presentation, his first guideline was not violated.

If all letters to the editor were as cogent, succinct and helpful as Mr. Romberg’s, the Letters to the Editor section would always be informative and a pleasure to read.

Big words, convoluted logic and fictional recollections of uncontroverted facts do not a good letter make.
