Oppose an Assault on Our 2nd Amendment Rights

To The Editor:It seems that aside from having a very poor understanding of the 2nd Amendment of our Federal Constitutional Bill of Rights, Mr. Arnold Romberg has adopted the tactic of the many Marxist/ Leninists in the Biden Adminis-tration- simply re-defining words of anything they don’t like hoping to change their meaning. (As an example, price inflation no longer exists in their world because last week they decided to change its definition. The inflationary deficit spending bill currently being debated in Congress is named the “Inflation Reduction Bill of 2022” in an attempt to fool the voters. Likewise, Mr. Romberg along with the Marxists/Leninists in Congress want to change the 2nd Amendment to something more to their liking and effectively disarm the citizens of this country rendering them defenseless against those both foreign and domestic thatwish to do us harm.The 2nd Amendment is what defends our rights in our Constitution. It is not about hunting, or tearing up targets, or social media and drug fueled school shootings. It has always been about defending our lives and liberty and it was written clearly and explicitly that it must not be infringed. Thatwas most recently reaffirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court in The District of Columbia vs Heller. Sadly Mr. Romberg wants to infringe it out of existence. I would hope and pray that this is not acceptable to vast majority of the residents of Fayette County.
