Online Voter Registration

To The Editor:

The recent Capital Highlights article seemed intended to inflame readers rather than inform. Gary Borders writes to denigrate and chastise the Secretary of State for his lack of forms available to send out for registration. Further emphasizing that Texas is one of 11 states that do not provide on-line voter registration.

While Texas does not have an on-line functionality, it is very easy to go to the SOS website (https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/vr-with-receipt.pdf) and print the application form to mail and register? Would have been a more informative way to round out your column Gary.
