Many of us growing up in this part of the country were born into the Democratic Party. Grandpa voted Democrat, our dad voted Democrat and naturally, we were Democrats. It didn’t matter what the candidate stood for or against. We just knew there really wasn’t another choice. We didn’t dare consider supporting that other “evil party.”
