No ‘Us’ Versus ‘Them’

To the Editor:

The Opinion letter stating that there are no American flags on one of the Presidential candidates stages is not true. Both candidates have American flags--please google images rather than assume facebook posts are sometimes true.

After we finally have the election results, you’ll likely look back and think “How did I let myself harbor and promote any ideas that fellow Americans were enemies — that there is an US and THEM? How did I give in to mean-spiritedness, when all most of us want is to live in the “land of harmony” that America at it’s best represents?
