No Right to Abortion

To the Editor:

Regarding the letter “Moderate is Best” dated 5-12-23 the writer refers several times to abortion rights. Fact is, there are no abortion rights. Our constitution guarantees a right to life, nowhere does it give a right to abortion.

Advocates for abortion need to be honest enough to admit that what they are asking for is the legal right of mothers and fathers to end the life of their unborn child.

If saving innocent lives costs Republicans some votes, then that is a price that must be paid. It is never wrong to do the right thing.
