No to Golf Carts on City Streets

To the Editor:

In Friday’s paper on the front page of the Fayette County Record, I read that city council member Dusty Littrell wants to drive his golf cart on city streets of La Grange. May I offer this protest for that proposal? May I further suggest the council spend their time on something more important than the personal desire of individual members? Surely there are much more pressing items to be considered.
