My Reaction to Letters

To the Editor:

I was happy to read two letters last week that called out Judge Weber’s weak-kneed response to the attack on our Capitol. Thank you J.B. Lovell and Mary Belle Rogers for calling him out.

Also, I read Sandy Armstrong’s letter which trotted out the same old, same old regarding Democrats as being sympathetic to the communists/socialist cabal. Such tired rhetoric and now we can’t trust our government. Let’s see, the last four years the Republicans have controlled the Senate, Supreme Court and the Executive branch of our government. I’m guessing you would recommend starting a third party to set everything aright that you don’t like about our country. You are right about one thing. There’s plenty of misinformation out there for everyone including yourself.

Hats off to Patty Reid for her letter about her frustration with the local COVID-19 response. Perhaps our Chief of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Craig Moreau, could enlighten us old folks about when and where Phase 1B vaccinations will happen and how to make an appointment for some.
