Muldoon Ends 2020 With Over an Inch of Rain
Muldoon is finally getting a little rain as 2020 is ending. Depending on where you were, some received over an inch others not as much at the time of this writing. It is so nice to see water standing in the fields.
Out and About
Nancie and Billy Blair enjoyed having both of their daughters, Heather Tillerson and her children, Kelley and Valarie, and Teresa Holland in for Christmas. They cooked brisket and enjoyed visiting. A little shower of rain put a little damper on things, but it did not stop them from totally enjoying the visit.
Dana and Darrell Kulak took off for Christmas with their kids. They picked up their daughter, Cynthia Kulak, in Austin and then headed for Dallas to join their son, Elton Kulak, and his fiancée, Miko, at their new home. Elton had a few “Daddy Do” jobs for Darrell as they worked on fixing up the new house. Dana also got to go with Miko and do some wedding planning. Elton and Miko have a July wedding planned.
Jennifer and Clay Rightmer enjoyed having their kids in for Christmas. Lane Rightmer came in from Waco and Reed Rightmer came in from Houston to celebrate a few days in the country and enjoy some family time.
Martin and Nancy Cherry have loved having their daughter, Anne Marie Cherry, in from Columbus, Ga. Anne Marie also enjoyed spending time and having fun with her niece, Carolyn, and nephew, Mitchell Cherry, while she was in.
Little Lending Library
The Little Lending Library is available for everyone to go and pick out a book to enjoy on these cooler days. The selection is always changing. The Little Lending Library is located in front of the fire station across the tracks from the Stone Store.
This is a great resource for those in the area. Come borrow a book or leave one. There are all kinds of books available. Drop by and pick out a book and enjoy a good story.
Neighboorhood Watch
Keep your eyes open for your neighbors. If you see something out of place or some strange car parked around their place give them a call and make sure it is someone they know and want on their place. We all have to watch out for one another.
