More School Security Needed

To The Editor:

Judge Weber, sir, I ask that you and Commissioner’s Court immediately convene to look at the hardening of the schools in Fayette County due to the tragedy in Uvalde. We must take this seriously and take proactive approaches to ensure the protections of our students, teachers and other employees of the schools in Fayette County.

I ask for an immediate vote by Commissioners Court to place a minimum of one trained security officer or Sheriff’s deputy at each school until summer completion. As a citizen of Fayette County, these request need immediate attention.
