Look in the Mirror

To the Editor:

I noticed that the Letters To the Editor page in the July 30 edition was, once again, dominated by extreme right wing conservative voices. According to these individuals everything that is “wrong” in our state is the fault of the liberal political office holders and judges that have gotten elected. How can this be true when all three branches of our Texas government, ie.- the legislature, the governorship, and the court system are, and have been since the turn of this century, controlled by the Republican Party?

If you want to see what’s wrong, just look in the mirror.
