Local Eyesores

To The Editor:

While we are on the subject of county wide trash and the collapsed Encore Cabinets building, why is the house at 463 S. Jefferson allowed to fall apart before our very eyes? There was actually shrubbery growing from the outside through the windows into the inside of the house. The roof is caving in and it’s a pure eyesore.

Also has no one noticed the brush pile blocking the city sidewalk for the last several months?

This house and several others on South Jefferson give visitors the first impression of La Grange and it can’t be good.

I would gladly take the Subway sign over this and the other eyesores on South Jefferson.
