Living in America

To The Editor:

To Mr. Parker, I’m sorry for the loss of your friend. I too lost a close friend who made the choice not to get vaccinated. She had diabetes and other health issue as well. I did not advise her to make a decision one way or the other regarding her choice for her health. She made her own decision as was her right.

I have one question for you. Would you have written such an impassioned letter to the editor had your friend been vaccinated and still passed away? We all have lost and will continue to lose people we love as we go through this life. But it is disingenuous to imply that had your friend been vaccinated, he may not have or would not have passed away. There is no way you can or should make that assumption or implication.

To Ms. Leech, for those of us living in the real world we see every day the things I mentioned in my letter, high inflation, high gas prices, high food prices, no food at the stores, millions of illegals entering the country daily. That’s the reality of living in America with Biden as President today.

I applaud you if you have enough income that you are not affected by what is happening in this country right now. But for the rest of us who have watched our income take a hit due to the high price of virtually everything, we don’t have that luxury. I have a question for you, what will it take to get you to take off your blinders and see Biden for what he truly is, the worst President this country has ever seen?
