Liberty

To the editor:

As the upcoming election approaches, it brings to mind how many people put their hope and faith in politics. Personally, I have no political affiliation, in the same way that I have no religious affiliation. I believe that if my goal is liberty and freedom, I won’t find it in federal, state or local government. I strongly believe that liberty and freedom can only be found in the Spirit within. I hope beyond all hope that my love of liberty and freedom, that is only found in Christ, will stand firm when I am tested.

Everyone of us has a choice to take a stand for our personal liberty no matter what stands against us. There’s no better way for me, than with the knowledge of the sweet victory of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has overcome the world and I am free.
