LG Bridge Taking Forever To Renovate

To the Editor:

The front page of the June 25, 2024 issue of the FC Record showed a photo of the “Old Bridge Gets a New Coat of Paint” showing the bridge across the Colorado River and how it was covered during a paint job. The last sentence in the story stated “The bridge work is scheduled for completion in February of next year.”

Here it is October of next year and we still can not use it. Wonder if there are any fines applied for not finishing on time? The State Hwy 237 work has also been going on a very long time. Will they ever be completed?
