La Grange Police Report
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Nov. 28 through Dec. 12.
Assault
On Dec. 9, Patrolman Brett Meinardus responded to the 1500 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business where complainant advised that subject had grabbed her from behind. Officer spoke to the subject and took information and reviewed the surveillance video of the incident.
Accident
On Dec. 1, Patrolman David Mohr responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 400 block of W. Travis.
On Dec.1, Mohr responded to the 300 block of S. Vail for a two-vehicle accident.
On Dec. 1 Chief David Gilbreath responded to the 200 block of E. Travis for an accident. The subject left the location and did not leave any information.
Dec 3, Patrolman John Wostarek was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Jefferson in regard to a motorist assist. The driver of the vehicle ran over a bicycle that was in the roadway. Driver issued a blue form.
On Dec. 3, Patrolman Curtis Zwahr responded to N. Vail and E. Guadalupe for a two-vehicle minor accident.
On Dec. 6, Patrolman David Mohr received a call of a minor two-vehicle accident at one St. Marks Place.
On Dec. 7, Patrolman Kevin Currington was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Colorado for an accident with no injuries.
On Dec. 9, Patrolman Mitchell Maxwell responded to a minor accident in the 100 block of N. Monroe and a wrecker was called.
On Dec. 10, Meinardus responded to One St. Marks Place for a minor accident in the parking lot. The subjects exchanged information.
On Dec. 11, Sgt. Travis Anderson responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of W. Cedar. There were no injuries.
On Dec. 11, Mohr responded to an accident in the 1000 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass for a single vehicle accident.
Trespassing
On Dec. 5, Patrolman John Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a subject that was trespassing. Upon arrival the sub
Nov. 28, Mohr responded to the 600 block of N. Jefferson for a dog on the road and upon arriving the owner had already secured the dog on their property.
On Dec. 1, Mohr received a call that a subject was missing their dog in the 300 block of N. Monroe.
Terroristic Threat
On Dec. 10, Meinardus responded to the lobby at One St. Mark’s Place for an individual demanding to go to the back of the hospital where his girlfriend was. When he was denied access he became angry and yelled at her. Subject fled when the officer arrived.
Criminal Mischief
On Dec. 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 900 block of S. Jefferson in regard to criminal mischief.
Disturbance
On Dec. 9, Maxwell was dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Jefferson in regard to a disturbance.
Civil Matter
On Dec. 1, Mohr responded to the 200 block of Ellinger for a civil matter with a tenant.
Disturbance
On Dec. 1, Patrolman Justin Koehne responded to One St. Mark’s Place for an unruly patient.
On Dec. 3, Zwahr responded to the 300 block of Woodhollow for a possible disturbance.
On Dec. 3, Koehne responded to the 700 block of E. Lafayette for a disturbance over a civil matter.
Disorderly Conduct
On Dec. 3, Wostarek was dispatched to the 1800 block of W. State Hwy. 71 Business, in regards to several subjects fighting. Officer upon arrival spoke to a male subject. The other subjects left prior to officers’ arrival.
Family Violence
On Dec. 4, Patrolman Brett Meinardus responded to the 400 block of S. Washington where caller stated that while trying toject had left.
Animal Complaint get between her son and daughter her son head butted her. Caller advised she wants sons’ girlfriend trespassed. Officer trespassed the girlfriend and cited the son for assault.
On Dec. 8, Patrolman Justin Koehne responded to the 100 block of W. Fannin to take a family violence report.
Public Intoxication
On Dec. 4, Wostarek was dispatched to the 600 block of E. State Hwy. 71 Bypass in regard to a possible disturbance. Officer arrived on location and spoke with a male subject. Male subject was arrested for public intoxication.
On Dec. 8, Currington observed a subject walking in the road way and acting erratically in the 100 block of N. Horton. Officer made contact and arrested subject for public intoxication.
On Dec. 10, Koehne checked on a vehicle at One St. Marks Place that had the door open and subject was inside. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.
Suspicious Person
On Dec. 1, Wostarek was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Jackson in regard to a suspicious person. Officer arrived and was unable to locate anyone in the area.
On Dec. 2, Koehne responded to the 600 block of N. Washington for a suspicious person. Officer did not locate anyone at the location.
On Dec. 3, Zwahr responded to the 800 block of S. Reynolds for a suspicious person. Subject purchased items and then left without incident.
On Dec. 7, Currington responded to the 900 block of E. Travis for a suspicious subject. The subject was gone upon officers arrival.
On Dec. 8, Currington responded to the 300 block of S. Diers for a suspicious person.
On Dec. 8, Currington was dispatched to the 300 block of S. Diers for a suspicious person. The subject was authorized to be there.
On Dec. 8, Currington was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Travis for a subject in the roadway waving at cars. Officer was unable to locate the subject.
On Dec. 10, Currington was dispatched to the 900 block of N. Franklin for a suspicious subject. The individual was the homeowner’s daughter and friend.
