Knotts Enjoy Visit to Wimberley with Granddaughter
Out And About
Ron and Pam Knotts recently received a quick weekend visit from their granddaughter Keylee Simpson. She had a few days off from work and decided to drive in from Conway, Arkansas. While she was here they took a day trip to Wimberley to have lunch and do some shopping. The weather was pleasant and made for a great outing. They also spent an afternoon driving around Fayette County and eventually found their way to the Piano Bridge. It is always a treat to spend time exploring the history of our area. Kathy Chlumsky spent Sun
Kathy Chlumsky spent Sunday at the Houston Zoo with her daughter and grandsons, Jennifer, Connor and Hunter. The boys were excellent tour guides and they all enjoyed the exhibits. They especially enjoyed the new South American Pantanal. Kathy is looking forward to an other trip soon.
Reed Rightmer slipped in from Houston for some country time and to relax.
Devon Boehnke enjoyed a day visit from his son Jeremy Wells and his kids Dylan and Brianna over the weekend. The kids are really enjoying getting out of the city and coming out to “do country stuff ” like fish and play with the cows.
Good Neighbors
Be sure to keep your eyes open to any strange activity or vehicles in the area. If you see something out of the ordinary on your neighbor’s place give them a call and check up on it. Make notes on the vehicle’s color, make and model. If they are supposed to be there its ok, but if not you could save your neighbor some grief. You may prevent a crime. We all have to pull together in our small community to keep it safe.
Deer and hogs are getting active again. They are actively crossing the roads. Keep your eyes open for any movement on or adjacent to the road. They can do some major damage to your vehicle.
