In It For Themselves

To the Editor:

In response the letter of June 16, 2023.

Let’s start with quotes from the letter. “Being rich, being famous, or being a former president should not shield a person from facing consequences for criminal actions. No one should get away with committing crimes against our country – not even Donald Trump. No one is above the law.” I agree 100% with those statements. What I find amusing is that no democrat/ liberal has ever called out one of their own on their criminal activities.

Two things have been painful obvious over the last several years with respect to how Democrats/ liberals respond to issues.

1. They always jump on Republicans/conservatives for their alleged sins. Sins, they themselves are guilty of.

2. They NEVER condemn their own for any of their crimes. This is the stunning hypocrisy that is the Democratic party and by extension, Democrat voters.

Let’s review - Biden, who during his tenure as Senator and VP, took documents home. In his case, he had no authorization to do so. In fact, it was unlawful. Let’s not forget the fact that he’s committed treason and sold the United States out for money; lots of money. Then we have Hillary, who had classified/top secret documents on a personal server in her home, and in order to hide the evidence, she took a hammer to the server. All of which was illegal. The icing on the cake, she sought and paid for the fake Steele Dossier that was used in the fraudulent impeachment cases against President Trump. And now she’s making money selling hats, t-shirts, etc. saying “But Her Emails.” She is the worst kind of human being, blatantly enjoying the fact that she broke the law and got away with it. Then we have Shifty Schiff who, with his counterparts, committed treason in an attempt to unseat a lawfully elected President. It is painfully obvious to anyone with a brain that there are different sets of rules for Democrats/liberals than for Republicans/conservatives.

Is President Trump guilty of what he’s being accused of? Maybe – probably not. From the beginning of President Trump’s presidency and on we’ve seen the constant and continuous attacks by the democrat-owned media and democrats/liberals with blatant lies about him. Democrat voters continue to vote for anyone with a D behind their name regardless of what their party is doing to the country. My dad told me once that the Democrats/liberals could run Mickey Mouse and he’d get elected. Mickey would definitely have been a better choice than Biden.

We are currently racing to the end of America as we know it. The government, in general, and elected representatives in Congress, specifically all democrats, have made no secret of the fact they want complete control over us. They’re not in it for the people; they are in it for themselves, for power and money. So instead of continuing to be hypocrites, how about Democrats/ liberals recognize the need to clean up their own house before criticizing anyone else’s.
