I Stand for America
To the editor:
To Ms. Hegar’s letter. I’ll start by saying I stand with President Trump, ICE and LEO. Here are some facts about illegal aliens being removed from this country.
Clinton ICE (INS) Deportations (8 years): 12.3 million (1,538,000 per year); Bush ICE Deportations: (8 years): 5.3 million (663k per year); Obama ICE Deportations (8 years): 5 million (625k per year); Trump (45) ICE Deportations (4 years): 1.5 million (375k per year); Biden ICE Deportations (4 years): 647,000 (160k per year); Trump (47) ICE Deportations as of December (600,000), Self (1.6m).
There were no protests, riots, or lawsuits then; only now when President Trump deports illegal aliens. Why is that? Let’s start with the fact the Democrat leaders and their minion voters are livid that President Trump overwhelmingly won the last election. They are also enraged that President Trump doesn’t give a damn what Democrats think. He is fulfilling his promises to the American people who voted for him.
The Democrats are to blame for all the rioting and hate. They don’t care about America or Americans. They only care about ultimate power and their voters, it appears, don’t care about America enough to see that the Democrat party has nothing to offer. They literally have no plans, no solutions, no ideas, for America. It isn’t lost on anyone with a brain that the only rioting and violent protesting is happening in Democrat run blue cities and states. It’s the only way for Democrats to stay in power. It’s easy for them as their voters are embarrassingly uninformed and easily led.
To the comment about “agents of our government in generic riot garb bundling noncitizens and citizens alike” … this is a Democrat talking point. They are trying to make Americans believe that ICE and law enforcement are just arbitrarily snatching people off the street. That is simply not true. Do some citizens get caught up in the process? Possibly, but those are very rare and some of them are being arrested because they are interfering with federal law enforcement. They are in riot garb because 1) they are dealing with dangerous illegal aliens and 2) they are also dealing with dangerous American citizens who have forgotten which side they should be on.
Let me be clear, if anyone is in this country illegally, they need to go. Period. I don’t care how long they’ve been here. There are people who have been in this country illegally for years andsuddenlytheyaregettingdeported and people are outraged. Really? These people have been living here illegally for years and couldn’t care less about our laws. There is always a reason they are getting deported. They either didn’t renew their green card (many only started the process when President Trump got elected). In other cases, they had a Judge’s order to be removed and they didn’t leave. In most cases, they’re here illegally and don’t respect or care about America or our laws to change that.
I will always stand for America and our right to peacefully protest. But I will never condone,andIwillalwaysspeak out when protests turn violent. If someone protests violently, i.e., attacking, spraying mace, using a weapon or vehicle against any law enforcement officer, I have no sympathy for what happens to them.
As to Ms. Hegar’s comment about “authority should never be anonymous.” Seriously, violent protestors and agitators are threatening and doxxing not only law enforcement but their families. It appears she has no problem with violent protesters wearing masks. I haven’t seen any Democratic leaders condemning that behavior. Nowhere in Ms. Hegar’s letter did she mention the violence against American citizens by illegal aliens. It appears she doesn’t care about all the Americans that have been raped, murdered, attacked, and killed by illegals driving 40-ton semis. I didn’t see any protests about that. Where, Ms. Hegar, is your and the Democrats outrage about that? One only had to watch President Trump’s March 4, 2025, address to Congress to see the true nature of Democrats. Laken Riley’s mother was in attendance. Not one Democrat showed any empathy or compassion for the woman whose daughter was brutely raped and strangled by an illegal alien. I guess those Americans were and are just collateral damage.
To Ms. Hegar’s last comment about Texans standing up to misused authority. The implication is that Republicans and the right are the ones misusing authority. That is blatantly incorrect. Ms. Hegar apparently has forgotten the egregious misuse of our judicial system by America hating people like Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. who not only waged lawfare against President Trump but also tried to ruin Daniel Penny, an American veteran, who protected a subway car full of innocent people against a crazed attacker. Those are just two examples of the lengths Democrats are willing to go to ruin an American citizen and circumvent our election process. Democrats have a complete and utter disregard for our laws and continue to promote violence against Americans. That should anger every trueAmerican.
