I Refuse to Comply With New Orders

To the Editor:

People we are losing our liberty a little bit at a time by bending to foolish rules that are of dubious efficacy and even questionable legality.

The governor has ordered that everyone must wear a mask when in public. The city council agrees even though I think masks are more of a feel-good thing than a safeguard.

While I was taking a nap did the governor become promoted to king and the city council are now his minions?

I think wearing masks are pretty useless preventing COVID-19 along with a lot of the other so-called preventative measures

So, for you doubters I will propose this scenario. What happens when the governor orders that all males must wear plaid pants on Thursday and all females dye their hair green?

Will you submit or refuse to comply? Personally, I am in the refuse to comply camp. I will refuse to wear plaid pants, I will not comply.

However, when on a sunny Thursday I see a man wearing plaid pants walking along with a green haired woman, I will know it is all over.

Sarcastically submitted.
