I Put No Hope In Vaccine
To the Editor:
I always buy the Friday edition of the Record so I can read Andy Behlen’s gardening column and the Opinion section.
While I fully expect letters of public shaming from Houston lawyers who move to our county and try to turn it into the place they left, I don’t expect the same propaganda from the Record yet there it was on the first page of the Opinion section.
The political cartoon titled “Signs of Hope and Renewal” shows your typical Springtime themes with the addition of an image of someone getting jabbed with the experimental injection. It hasn’t even been a week since Easter and the Record is already touting “vaccines” as our Hope. Colossians 1:27 tells us that Christ, who lives in us, is our only Hope.
As for the experimental, not FDA approved but authorized for emergency use, untested and unproven gene therapy pretending to be a vaccine; we’re told that it doesn’t keep us from contracting or spreading the virus. The Record should be as diligent in investigating what the “vaccines” actually do as it is in investigating government impropriety.
As for me, I’ll take the greater than 99% chance of survival and keep my Hope in the author and finisher of our faith.
