Hold Dems Responsible
To the Editor:
Did you know, “the final cost of the Mueller investigation was reported to be between $35 Million and $40 Million - wasted taxpayers’ dollars for a bogus report built upon the Christopher Steele dossier that the Obama team and the FBI hierarchy knew way back in August 2016 was fabricated with lies and “bar talk.”
Who will be held responsible?
Last Friday, a writer seemed fixated on Trump being held accountable for the COVID-19 spread. I wonder if she has given any thought to the fact that state officials and leaders like Pelosi and Schumer are just as culpable if not more so because they failed to warn citizens about the severity of the virus? Pelosi failed to take the virus seriously in San Francisco’s Chinatown when she told the community (2/24/2020) amid coronavirus fears it was “perfectly safe”. There are several videos on YouTube that portray Pelosi’s message that virus fears should not stop Chinatown visits. She could have supported the president’s (1/31/2020) attempt to protect citizens by shutting down travel and the spread of the virus but she chose to encourage travelers. Who is responsible for the permissive public policies that have drawn people with drug addictions and mental illness “flocking” to the West Coast cities?
Schumer is focused NOT on sending people back to work, but creating unemployment benefits that exceed what the employee can make. He prefers to pay them for not working. An article in the Daily Signal describes the mentality of Schumer and his cronies perfectly; “Today’s government thinks it can make people happy by dishing out gobs of cash with no end in sight. It is a form of vote buying designed to keep politicians in office, enjoying benefits unique to them.”
Consider this headline: “Pelosi, Schumer Set To Unveil MultiTrillion Dollar, ‘Rooseveltian’ Coronavirus Relief Package” which is a “wish list” that Pelosi “commanded” House committee leaders and other key lawmakers to “think big”. It is not a response to affects ofthe coronavirus. Pelosi and Schumer have compiled — a “legislative laundry list” that will likely dwarf the $2.2 trillion CARES Act, which passed back in March.
Neither Pelosi, nor Schumer, nor any of their party lawmakers in the U.S. House has any intention of pursuing the health and freedom of the American citizen. Their intent is to obstruct every effort the president makes, right or wrong, to protect the health, national security and freedom of the American people.
Pelosi and Schumer are responsible for the lack of integrity in leading their constituents and legislators to produce appropriate solutions to the current “economic fallout” and are the cause of great confusion and disunity.
