The Hatred of Trump

To the editor:

I can appreciate Mr. Balch’s disdain with President Trump’s “reckless name-calling.” I disdain the persistent “reckless name-calling, personal insults, political labels and lack of respect directed at the President and Republicans from Democrats.

Democrat leaders and followers have employed a variety of belittling names for Republicans like “deplorables” (Hillary Clinton), “garbage” (Biden), “bitter clingers on” (Obama), racists, fascists, Nazis, etc.

Mr. Balch asks, “What is the proper purpose of government?” I refer him to the Bill of Rights Institute’s webpage for the answer. ( https://billofrightsinstitute. org/essays/thepurpose- of-government/).

Mr. Dykes exposes readers to the ‘stench’ of his misinformation. He asks, “Why do ‘Trumpsters’ nominate criminal, corrupt, immoral and ignorant candidates for public office?” I ask Mr. Dykes the same question regarding Democrats. Mr. Victor Davis Hanson reminds us, “the socialist moment was merely the logical culmination of years of boutique radicalism within the Democrat aristoc-racy— the ossified leadership of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, and Hakeem Jeffries, along with the aging Black Caucus, the incoherent Squad, the DEI crowd, the open-border zealots, and the radical greens. The grandees of the party also normalized the crazy mobs of BLM and Antifa long ago. Almost every weaponized scam and national hysteria in the last two decades was amplified and spread by the mainstream Democrats. The Democrat establishment’s unhinged hatred of Donald Trump mainstreamed radicalism and helped birth the socialist-cumcommunists (described in July 9, 2026, Daily Signal article, The Ungrateful Urban Class Turning into the New Democratic Socialist Party.)” I am encouraged to know there are Democrats who do not embrace the Democratic Socialist of America. There are Republicans who do not embrace and are frustrated by ‘Republicans in name only’, Rinos.

Bottom Line: I believe there are good things happening. I wish the Democrats would help pass the Save America Act to secure our election process. I believe President Trump has listened and learned from the political abuse he has endured. I don’t always appreciate his choice of words when he is reacting to push back, but I think he honestly disdains injustice and has an abiding respect for freedom.
