Grand Jury Hands Down Indicments

The Fayette County Grand Jury handed down 20 felony indictments on Aug. 13.

An indictment is not a finding of guilt. Rather, a grand jury issues an indictment when they determine enough evidence exists to formally accuse a person of a crime. The defendants listed below are innocent until proven guilty by a court.

Latrenda Michelle Matthews, 35 of Schulenburg, was indicted for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, allegedly committed on May 29, 2020.

Tiffany Sulynne Proske, 38 of La Grange, was indicted for possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, allegedly committed on March 3, 2020.

Donald Gene Davis Jr., 32 of Muldoon, was indicted for possession of a prohibited substance or item in a correctional or civil commitment facility, allegedly committed on July 3, 2020.

Monica Vinson, 50 of Columbus, was indicted for possession of a prohibited substance or item in a correctional or civil commitment facility, allegedly committed on July 3, 2020.

Jose Abiu Reyna Jr., 38 of Laredo, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, greater than 400 grams, allegedly committed on September 1, 2017.

Peter Cabrera Jr., 25 of Laredo, was indicted for evading detention or arrest with a vehicle, allegedly committed on July 22, 2020.

Charles Don Davis Jr., 53 of Rockport, was indicted for tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, allegedly committed on July 12, 2020.

Matthew Edwin Rasco, 31 of New Braunfels, was indicted for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, allegedly committed on July 2, 2020.

Juan Antonio Rodriguez-Mendiola, 21 of Flatonia, was indicted for aggravated sexual assault of a child, allegedly committed on December 31, 2019.

Sandra Susane Lancaster, 35 of La Grange, was indicted for deadly conduct discharge firearm, allegedly committed on July 20, 2020.

Marco Antonio Hernandez-Ramirez, 32 of Pasadena, was indicted for evading arrest or detention with a motor vehicle, allegedly committed on June 17, 2020. Hernandez-Ramirez was also indicted for tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, allegedly committed on June 17, 2020.

Myron James Williams, 26 of Waelder, was indicted for assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation, allegedly committed on June 25.

Dawayne L. Clark Jr., 20 of Bastrop, was indicted for delivery of marijuana greater than ¼ oz. and less than or equal to five pounds in a drug free zone, allegedly committed on January 13, 2020.

Danny Leroy Peterson, 18 of Bastrop, was indicted for delivery of marijuana in a drug free zone, greater than ¼ oz. and less than or equal to five pounds, allegedly committed on January 13, 2020.

Christopher Alan Hancock, 27 of La Grange, was indicted for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, penalty group 1, greater than or equal to four grams and less than 200 grams, allegedly committed on February 22, 2019.

Isaac Gage Ingle, 19 of Round Top, was indicted for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, penalty group 2, less than 1 gram, allegedly committed on April 12, 2019.

Erick Arturo De La Rosa, 25 of San Antonio, was indicted for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 2, greater than or equal to one gram and less than four grams, allegedly committed on April 12, 2019.

April Janetz Widger, 41 of Weimar, was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, allegedly committed on June 17, 2020.

Billy Joel Polasek, 37 of La Grange, was indicted for murder of a person under 10 years old and injury to a child with intent to cause serious bodily injury, allegedly committed on July 4, 2016.
