Founders Park Question

To the Editor:

I’ve recently seen some news about building public restrooms and reinventing the little Founders Park as a new visitors center. One question comes to mind and that’s what is the purpose of the Historic Casino Hall?

The current visitors center is very nice and has all the amenities for attracting visitors. The Founders Park (as it is) could also serve as an outdoor cafe. Since there are so many vacant buildings on the square perhaps one would look into renovating one of these for public bathrooms.
