Enhancing Elections
To The Editor:
Hey John, (in regards to your letter last week) guess who’s the Dark Money leader this past couple of election cycles? Hint: it’s not the Republicans / GOP whom you wasted FCRs ink on blaming 16 times in your most recent ideologue diatribe.
You seem even more divisive in your thinking than Biden-Pelosi-Schumer combined. Did give me a chuckle though regarding your quote “Democrats genuinely seeking to eliminate corporate money in politics.”
Instead, how about we rally as citizens to rise up as you say (like Canadian truckers for example) and demand that all politicians denounce Dark Money. Far too much money in electioneering. Heck, some party operatives even use that money to buy fake dossiers to try and ruin and impeach their opposition. Elections have been bought and sold for far too long. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if issues and results decided elections instead of money.
While we’re at it, let’s get all politicians to eliminate computerized gerrymandering and elections (Dominion) and require photo ID as proof of eligibility to ensure election integrity Further too, let’s require all politicians to pass an amendment limiting terms for congress. The return of Statesmanship. Hooray.
Only together can we break the cycle of politicians using We the People as ping pong balls to slap back and forth and pit against each other to distract from their misdeeds and keep focus on their results not their rhetoric.
God bless and save America.
