Election’s Finished, Get Over It

In regards to Deborah Frank’s outrageous letter from last week’s paper: The outrageous claims of election fraud being pushed by Trump and his Republican enablers have been thoroughly debunked by both state election boards (some Republican controlled) as well as state and federal courts. Since the Nov. 3 election, Trump and his campaign have filed 36 lawsuits. To date, they are 2-34 with massive losses coming in both State Supreme Courts as well as Federal & Appeals court level with some lawsuits being dismissed with prejudice... meaning, they are so baseless the court refuses to hear anything further on that specific topic. Of the two successful rulings, neither is of significant substance and illustrates absolutely zero fraudulent votes. We’ve seen, on at least two occasions that Trump attorneys, when challenged by the judge with their bar licenses on the line, agree the lawsuit is baseless.

Unlike the media and baseless opinion letters in local newspapers, the court system operates on facts in truths. Sadly, both truth and fact run counter to the narrative Mrs. Frank and her Republican counterparts continue to try to push. I know losing is hard. It was hard for many of us in 2016, but at some point you just need to build a bridge and get over it... at least, please stop with pushing the lies and propaganda being propagated by Trump and his failed campaign.
