Credibility Lacking in Film About Vote

There is a dustup surrounding a currently circulating film, a film that might be better called 2000 Conspiracy Theory Mules.
It always pays off to know who an author or filmmaker is before reading a book or article or going to the movies or watching a film on Netflix or on Prime Video.
Knowing about an author or producer speaks volumes about the perspective and biases that guide what an author writes, or a film producer produces. The film producer in question is a proven conservative right-wing conspiracy theorist.
I was impressed by the number of “hits” found when I Googled “2000 Mules,” the ludicrously researched, produced, and widely debunked film that alleges voter fraud in 2020.
Indeed, the report “Lost, Not Stolen” written by conservative Republicans, and released only last week concludes on page 6: “A second example is a recent film from Dinesh D’Souza, ‘2000 Mules,’ which attempts to demonstrate rampant voter fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election through digital-device locationtracking data. Yet the film, heartily endorsed by Trump at its Mar-a-Lago premiere, has subsequently been thoroughly debunked in analyses. What the film claims to portray is simply not supported by the evidence invoked by the film.”
To those who like to chastise others for criticizing the film without having watched it, I ask how many Michael Moore films have not been watched because of low opinions of Michael Moore. Or how many civil or criminal court filings documented in “Lost, Not Stolen” have not been read because they were tossed out of or withdrawn from court due to lack of presented evidence of voter fraud, e.g., the type of voter fraud alleged in the film?
So, do not lecture the thinking public about passing judgement on a not watched propaganda film.
Researching the film producer’s background, watching the film’s trailer, and reading critiques of the film lead to the rational conclusion that this film is a nothing burger. There-is-not-here-there. Thus, there are no compelling reasons to actually watch 2000 Conspiracy Theory Mules.
