COVID Thoughts
I feel like a chicken that escaped its coop when the door was left open. First, I poke my head outside and look around to see if anyone is around. My next move is to walk out of the cage and enjoy freedom as the rest of the world. I look back to see if it is safer where I was; or go for it and be home here.
You could also say that I feel as if my sentence was done and I was let out of prison.
One year isn’t long but it sure seemed long to me and the rest of the world. Well you can say I still have my handcuffs on and can’t do the things I have done before.
Masks and vaccines are sure to be here for a while longer. Two weeks has passed since my second Moderna vaccine and it is mentioned of needing a booster for the South African variant of COVID.
We all need to do what we can (vaccination or whatever) to diminish this pandemic. None of us can afford this financially or medically to take over our lives again.
