Congrats on 100 Years of The Fayette Co. Record

Congratulations, Regina, Jeff, and staff on publishing The Fayette County Record’s 100th Anniversary Edition, being recognized by the Texas Press as the best semi-weekly newspaper, and tallying the highest circulation in your newspaper category!

I am and have been very proud of your collaborative news reporting about local happenings, school sports, and human interest stories.

My grandfather and founder of The Record, L. J. Sulak, is without a doubt displaying a big smile of how you have continued communicating the daily news with the assistance of technology. Researching the decades’ big news stories was superbly compiled!

My father, John Sulak, and my mother, Lillie Sulak breathed, ate, and slept their dedication to informing La Grange and area residents the news as soon as possible “while it was still news.” Thank you for acknowledging them as pioneers in the business. May you have continued success as you operate as a winning team!
