Clinic is Pro-Life

To the Editor:

In response to Ruth Fabian’s letter last week regarding the pregnancy center, perhaps I didn’t make myself clear. We are a pro-life organization helping women and families in crisis. Should an abortion minded person come into the office, we would do counseling with her on her choices, let her options be known and if she still chooses to have an abortion, the we would let her know we don’t believe in that and she would need to find another agency to help her.

The words “assist” and “refer” mean different things. Assist means we would help her to find an agency vs. refer meaning to tell her to find another source. We are asking churches for donations as well as the public. But, Ms. Fabian, not for the reasons you thought. Sorry for the confusion or misunderstanding but I do hope this clarifies our mission.
