A Civics Lesson

To the Editor:

The media and liberals spout off and lie about things they know nothing about. They don’t catch on or they refuse to recognize reality. No matter how loud they proclaim their falsehoods, they are still false.

Example of a typical falsehood: “America is a nation built by immigrants.” America was not “built” by immigrants. America was built by settlers, not immigrants. There is a huge difference. Webster clarifies that for us: IMMIGRANT: One that comes into an established country, region or environment in order to benefit from all the established structure and economy (shortened version).

SETTLER: One who ventures out into the wilderness to build a civilization from scratch.

Today’s immigrant comes to a place already built. Settlers planted the trees, the vineyards, the plantations; they built the cities, towns and communities. The modern immigrant only comes here to eat the fruits and the good things offered by an established country.

The Liberals and Leftist Media refuse to see the difference and they won’t understand it no matter how we explain it to them. We can only thank God we now have a President who gets it and is surrounding himself with a group of leaders who have agreed to walk in harmony with him (for the most part).

Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan and complain.” Today’s political polls pretty well support God’s Word.
