A Caring Community

To The Editor:

Thanks to everyone who made our Community Garage Sale benefiting Officer Curtis Zwahr’s family a success. This includes those who donated merchandise, those who purchased it, and those who made monetary donations.

Our gratitude also goes out to the City of La Grange for the use of Historic Casino Hall. The staff there was nothing short of amazing.

Second Chance and Habitat for Humanity graciously accepted our leftovers. KBUK and The Fayette County Record provided much needed publicity. Rotary members, spouses, and other volunteers made it all come together.

What a generous community we live in!
