Big Yes On Biden Remorse

This letter responds to Ms. Reid’s letter last week:
Here are some actual poll percentages from a Fox poll from April 2021 on Mr. Biden’s performance. By a 31-point margin, voters say border security is worse than two years ago. 56% say that Mr. Biden winning the election is completely or mostly behind the increase in migrants at the U.S. southern border and 67% are extremely or very concerned about illegal immigration. On the economy more than two to one negative: 69% say the economy is fair/poor. On the pandemic, his numbers are better; but then again, he didn’t do anything but inherit the program put in place by President Trump; all the vaccines had been ordered and a plan was in place for distribution; President Trump made sure there were multiple companies working on the vaccines to optimize the availability and timing to get them out. Mr. Biden deserves none of the credit.
$1.9 Trillion Stimulus-The Heritage Foundation says this. “Though regularly billed as “the COVID-19 relief bill,” the legislation is not focused on reducing the spread of the disease. Instead, it is stuffed with a wish list of progressive policies that have nothing to do with the pandemic. In fact, less than 10 percent of the bill’s spending will be dedicated to public health. The vast majority will go to special interest payoffs and other wasteful spending that will do little to reduce the spread of COVID-19 or help the economy recover. For example, nearly $90 billion is earmarked for a taxpayer-funded bailout of union pension plans that were massively underfunded long before COVID-19. This union bailout gets about twice as much funding as COVID-19 testing and contact tracing. $126 billion for K-12 schools around the country. But the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office says that only $6.2 billion of that—just five percent—would actually be spent by October. More of this funding will be spent in 2026 than in 2021. How is that supposed to help reopen our schools? The Committee for a Responsible Budget’s COVID Money Tracker, of the $4.1 trillion in federal “coronavirus response funding” already signed into law, about $1 trillion still remains unspent. Adding another $1.9 trillion to the national debt is a bad idea. Even Larry Summers, chairman of President Obama’s National Economic Council, has expressed fear that this new package is so costly, it could backfire, hurting the economy.”
American people not wanting to work. From the Insider-“Unemployment benefits are a disincentive. President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus plan included weekly $300 unemployment benefits through September 6 to help Americans struggling financially during the pandemic. While many lawmakers and Americans lauded this provision as a form of muchneeded pandemic relief, some experts have argued that these benefits might discourage unemployed workers from returning to the labor force. Toby Malara, government affairs counsel at the American Staffing Association, told Insider in February that while unemployment has been “paramount” in helping people during the pandemic, it’s important to find a balance that doesn’t disincentivize people from returning to work. We began to see that some employees were in a position where they were literally making four, five sometimes $6 an hour more on UI (unemployment insurance) with the pandemic bonus, Malara said. “It did not make sense for them to go back to work. In other words, if unemployment benefits are too generous, workers may not go back to work because they are making more money simply from government aid.”
And lastly, if what is happening in this Country right now under Mr. Biden is Ms. Reid’s idea of normalcy then we are doomed to more violence, hate, and separation than this Country has ever seen to date. I hear a lot of people talking about “Trump’s big lie.” What exactly does that mean? Please provide the lie and proof/facts.
