Biden’s Promises

To the editor:

Sometimes people just forget to do the things they promised us or told us they would do. Sometimes they had no intention of ever doing them.

Here are a few things our current president told us that just never happened. Biden told us the border surge was just seasonal. It was not. He said inflation wasjust temporary, it was not.

Our current president also said the Taliban would not take over Afghanistan, but they did. He said the US would stay there until all Americans were out. We did not.

Biden said he would never mandate vaccinations. He did. He said he would shut down the virus. He did not. He has said he would not raise taxes on people making less than $400,000 a year. He is. President Biden said his three and a half trillion dollar government spending plan would cost Americans nothing. Not true.

Biden also said he knew nothing of his son Hunter’s money making scandals with people from foreign countries while he was Vice President. He has been seen on video with these very people, and he did know them and the fake news media is finally having to talk about it. I have a hunch we will find out President Biden did even more than just know these people.

And Biden is claiming that he has had the biggest, most historical job surge ever. My 8-year-old grandson knows that when one is at the bottom, there’s nowhere else to go but up. COVID and our government shut down jobs and businesses in 2020. Most of our country is back up and trying to get running on their own accord. And Mr. Biden wants to take credit for that. Seems he should think about what he says before he speaks.

I wonder if President Biden has forgotten all these things or just had no intention of doing them in the first place. With him, it could be either.
