Be Responsible Pet Owners

To the Editor:

I agree with Darlia Maxwell in her letter last week. She found her kitten on Saturday, we found ours on Sunday. I worked with the kitten for four days to get her friendly, hoping it would help get her adopted. I took her to the Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange.

We couldn’t keep her be cause we have five cats, all of whom were dumped at one time or another. The oldest came as a tiny kitten in 2008, the most recent was last July. There is monetary help to spay and neuter your pets, one is with PUPS out of Cat Spring.
