Agenda is Control

To the Editor:

In my opinion, there is NO “clear understanding” in the MAGA vs. MAGA letter published 2/3/23 in the Fayette County Record. The letter is the author’s “strategy” to divide and distract. The caustic language used in the letter is an attempt to polarize common sense voters. The anti-freedom strategies of the current administration began with the stack of executive orders signed by Biden his first day in office.

The purpose of Biden’s executive orders, which include “anti-voter laws,” was and continues to be “to demonstrate just how thoroughly they want to seize power not in order to govern but instead to dismantle the government and take away our freedoms.” The lockdowns and money handouts in the form of grants has proven how easily the public can be intimidated and controlled.

The agenda of the current administration and its minions is control.

The House “dysfunction” is the result of not allowing discussion, debate, or-in some case-even time to read bills brought up for a vote, like the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill. Our original democratic “Republic” was founded on discussion and debate.

There have been no “fascists tendencies,” even in FDR’s day, greater than the destructive and deceptive ideologies perpetuated on the American people by the Biden administration’s mandates of the experimental COVID-19 vaccines, the threat to individual occupations, the shutting down of businesses that were not considered “essential,” the pursuit of climate change energy policies and the destruction of the U.S. financial system-to name a few.

The task before each voter is not to march in lock step (collectivism) but to be discerning, to be objective and to act with integrity.

I respectfully disagree with every premise of the MAGA vs. MAGA letter.
