Abortion is Murder

To the Editor:
Some would say our country is in turmoil, some would say chaos, some would say warfare, some would say a great injustice is going on in our world. Some would say none of this is true, I would say it is all true. However, unlike most people in our world, I would say it is not due to the COVID-19, or the riots, or the crazy election. Our world is in a state of tumult and havoc because of the greatest injustice in our world that has been going on since it was legalized in America 1973. The murder of over 54 million preborn babies that have been slaughtered brutally due to abortion just in the U.S.A. Over 54 million people in America are missing due to the annihilation, extermination, and murder that abortion is. Abortion is murder and it is the greatest injustice our nation has experienced. I have gotten all my facts from the website, Students of Life.
As I stated above about 54 million babies have been brutally murdered since the legalization of it in 1973. Now I know some of you think abortion is just a shot given to the woman that is pain free and then the woman is set off on her way happily, that is what I used to think, I still thought abortion was murder, but I was as blind as a newborn puppy when it came to the methods of abortion. When I found out the ways that abortion was committed, I started crying, my stomach turned, I felt dizzy, and as I almost threw up, I slammed my computer shut. As I contemplated how I felt reading how these innocent babies are being slaughtered I thought about how those babies must have felt. I must share what these babies are forced to face every year, month, week, day, hour, and second. Here are three of many ways’ abortions are committed. One type of murder used to abort these innocent babies is called dilation and curettage. After the dilation of the cervix the abortionist inserts a curette into the uterus. After this the baby girl or boy’s body at only 12 weeks is cut into pieces by a suction catheter and is removed by the suction tube. After the body and the placenta are forced down the suction tube into the suction machine the doctor scrapes the uterus with the curette to make sure no baby body parts are left and to make sure the uterus is left empty. Another method is committed up to when the baby is 18 weeks old. First forceps are inserted into the mother’s uterus. Then the doctor uses them to grab and twist the baby to dismember him/her. If the baby’s head is too large it will be crushed to remove it. Another type of heinous abortion is called the saline injection. Committed during months four through seven the doctor injects a 20% salt solution through the mother’s abdomen into the innocent baby’s amniotic fluid. The baby then ingests this and eventually will die of salt poisoning, dehydration, and hemorrhaging to the baby’s brain. The baby girl or boy’s skin is burned off and a dead baby is delivered. Sometimes when a baby is born alive it is left to die, however some have survived this traumatic experience.
Yep, that is right. Those are just three methods of how thousands of babies are being slain every day. Feeling dizzy? Feeling sick? Just imagine how those guiltless innocent babies feel. Imagine being rapidly ripped apart by a suction tube. And after being torn apart brutally sucked out of the place you have always known by a suction catheter at only twelve weeks. Image one by one your arms and legs being ripped off. Then your torso, then your head being crushed because it was too big. Image your skin being burnt off and being dehydrated. Imagine being born and then left to die slowly. And imagine feeling it all as those babies do. Babies as early at twelve weeks can feel everything. They can feel every tear and rip and cut that is happening to them. Would you want that to happen to you? Or your brother? Or your sister? What about your daughter or son? Just contemplate that these are what thousands of preborn babies are forced to face every day. For these reasons I proclaim that abortion is murder, and you should too.
