The Fayetteville baseball team beat Round Top-Carmine in a doubleheader Thursday by scores of 12-1 and 12-0. In the 12-1 victory, Kole Schmitt and Jack Schley combined to pitch a one-hitter with Schmitt going four of the five innings, allowing no hits and striking out 10.

The La Grange baseball team suffered a tough extrainning 3-2 loss Friday at Manor New Tech. But the Leps still very much control their own destiny as they head into their regular season finale Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Fayetteville boys track team won the Regional team title at the 1A meet over the weekend in Seguin. Any athlete that finished either first or second at regionals qualifies for the state meet.
