Schley Throws No-Hitter As the Lions Sweep RTC

The Fayetteville baseball team beat Round Top-Carmine in a doubleheader Thursday by scores of 12-1 and 12-0.

In the 12-1 victory, Kole Schmitt and Jack Schley combined to pitch a one-hitter with Schmitt going four of the five innings, allowing no hits and striking out 10. Chance Konvicka had three hits, including two doubles. Keagan Supak had two hits including a homer and drove in three runs. Schley scored three runs and Easton Jaeger drove in two.

In the 12-0 victory, Schley pitched a four-inning nohitter with eight strikeouts. Jaeger hit a double and drove in three. Brody Dooley hit a double and drove in two runs.

The Lions are 8-4 overall and 2-0 in district.
