Lep Baseball Seniors Lead Team in Important Regular Season Finale Tuesday at Giddings

The La Grange baseball team suffered a tough extrainning 3-2 loss Friday at Manor New Tech.

But the Leps still very much control their own destiny as they head into their regular season finale Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Giddings.

The Leps are 5-4 in district play, and in third place, one game up on the Buffaloes and the Smithville Tigers. The top four teams make the playoffs, and all the teams from District 22-4A that do make the postseason will draw matchups against Houston ISD teams, in which these local teams will be big favorites.

Tuesday will mark the final regular season game for six distinguished Lep seniors: Brigham Kelley, Austin Roe, Brock Loehr, Brayden Horton, Bennett Barber and Colton Klesel.

In other action around the district Tuesday Smithville hosts Caldwell and Taylor plays at Manor New Tech.
