La Grange The La Grange varsity volleyball team lost to Caldwell at home Friday 22-25, 25-22, 16-25, 10-25. The loss drops the Lady Leps’ to 12-26 overall and 4-5 in district.

There were nearly 200 entries in last week’s Pick-It contest sponsored by Farmers Lumber Company, but only two correctly picked all 10 winners – Randy Gardiner and Bo Janda. But Gardiner wins the big $400 jackpot, prevailing on the score prediction tiebreaker of the La Grange game.

The LG Varsity cross country girls team and a boys individuals competed Monday at the Region III 4A Cross Country Meet in Huntsville. The La Grange girls placed 11th out of 22 teams.
