La Grange High School’s One Act Play troupe will be presenting this season’s production of “Brave Navigator” by David Valdes this Sunday, April 16, at the LG Performing Arts Center at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

The Fayette County Recycling Center will host a tire disposal day on April 18. Tires may be dropped off from 7 a.m.

The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Lunch-N-Learn Educational program is a series of 7 informational meetings designed to provide gardening or general landscaping information for homeowners. Fayette County Master Gardeners plan and present a variety of programs from experts in the area and across the state. This series is designed with the homeowner in mind; bring your lunch and learn about a variety of topics that help you have a more productive garden, prettier flower beds, or how to better understand your landscape ecosystems.

F Keagan Supak was named to the TABC All-State team in boys basketball and Kayme Schley was named to the TGCA All-State team in girls basketball. FISD students also placed first place in UIL Journalism at District: Copy Editing: 2nd Johnathan English (advancing to Regionals); 4th - Reagan Moreau; 5th - Jeslyn Moralez.
