Kubos Graduates from the UT

On May 6, Jeremy Kubos graduated from the University of Texas College of Natural Sciences with a degree in Microbiology. After graduation he will be attending the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor to pursue a Doctorate in Microbiology and Masters in Immunology.

Fayette County Leadership Holds Graduation

On Friday, June 9, Frisch Auf! Country Club hosted the 2023 Fayette County Leadership Program graduation ceremony, put on by the La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce. The program was started by the La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce in 1995 as a way to prepare members of various organizations within the community to become the leaders of tomorrow, and to serve Fayette County in a greater capacity.

The Smith-McMillan NSDAR Chapter recently honored Cole Richard Stork with the National Society of The Daughters of the American Revolution’s Certificate from the National Committee’s DAR Flag of the United States National Regent and National Committee Chair for Proper Use, Correct Display and Patriotic Presentation of The Flag of the United States of America.

KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 Meets on May 16

The meeting of the KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 was called to order at 1 p.m. on May 16 at St. John’s Recreation Hall. President Mary Jane Toddy opened the meeting with prayers for all living members and their families and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 8 members present.

She thought her equine friend might get a kick out of a full-size version, which she found at Second Chance Emporium on South Reynolds Street in La Grange.
