KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 Meets on May 16

The meeting of the KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 was called to order at 1 p.m. on May 16 at St. John’s Recreation Hall. President Mary Jane Toddy opened the meeting with prayers for all living members and their families and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 8 members present.

Rose Rohde read the minutes from the previous meeting. Helen Wied reported on cards received and sent out and Lois Kaspar gave the Treasurer’s report.

In old business, Mary Jane reported on the Rosary on the Square in March. Also in March, the officers held Bingo at TLC in Columbus. The residents enjoyed playing and visiting with the KJZT officers.

In new business, Mary Jane reminded members of upcoming important dates. Flag Day pictures with the Mayor will be held on June 14 and the District Meeting will be in Industry on July 16. The group also voted to donate a basket to the KJT Raffle Fundraiser on July 8. Attendance prize winner was Lois Kaspar and the next meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 16.

After the closing prayer, the meeting was adjourned. Lunch and fellowship followed the meeting.
