Kudos to Musick

I want to express my appreciation for your decision to publish Lisa Musick’s column on artificial intelligence.

Much of what people hear about AI today comes from social media, television, or word of mouth, where exaggeration and misinformation often overshadow reality. That can make a rapidly changing technology seem either frightening or magical, neither of which serves readers well.

Lisa Musick has consistently presented AI in a balanced, understandable, and practical way. Her columns explain what these tools can and cannot do without resorting to hype or fear. For those of us living in a rural community, where opportunities for formal technology education may be limited, her writing provides an accessible introduction to a subject that is becoming increasingly important in our daily lives.

Whether readers ultimately embrace AI, use it cautiously, or choose not to use it at all, they deserve accurate information on which to base those decisions. Lisa’s column helps provide exactly that.
